    PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT DETAILS:

    Pick up / Click & Collect - For those in or around Hermanus:

    This is a FREE option that allows you to purchase your order online, however instead of waiting for delivery to your door, you can swing past and collect your order once we've given you the go ahead. Please note, this option is only advisable to those located in or around Hermanus.

    How does Pick up / Click & Collect work?

    1. When placing your order, click the Pick up option at checkout. If your entire order is in stock and available at our pick up location, you will be able to continue. At checkout you will also be able to see where you'll be collecting your order from.
    2. We will send you an order confirmation. Please note, this is just to say we have received your order request, NOT that your order is ready for pick up.
    3. Once payment is received and your order has been prepped and packed, our team will send you an email notification letting you know that your order is ready to be collected. You need to allow for at least 24 hours, working days only, for us to process, pick and pack your order.
    4. Once you've received our 'Ready for Pickup' email, you'll need to bring your order confirmation email with you (on your mobile or a printed version will do) and we will hand over your order when you arrive.
    5. Now you can go Boom Boom Crazy!

    How long do I wait before collecting my order?

    You may only collect once you've received our 'Ready for Pickup' email. This normally takes about 24 hours, working days only. Unfortunately just placing your order and pitching up is not an option.

    How long will delivery take?

    All orders placed before 12pm will be dispatched on the same day. All orders placed during the weekend or on a holiday are processed the following business day. Most deliveries take 2-3 business days nation wide, but it is best to allow up to 5 business days if you live in an outlying area.

    Delivery time is dependent on the shipping method you select at check out. Delivery time is in addition to standard processing time.

    Please note that we are not responsible for any delays in transit times. Transit times are provided by the carrier, and may vary by destination, especially during peak seasons.

    When does delivery take place?
    Weekdays (excluding weekends and public holidays), between 8am and 5pm.

    Should I send my order to my work or home address?
    Give us the address of the location where you are normally located between 8am and 5pm on weekdays.

    Why do the couriers need my contact number?
    Sometimes our couriers have difficulty finding your address, or may need to contact you to make some arrangement for the delivery to take place. We provide them with your telephone number for this just in case.

    I accidentally provided the wrong shipping address with my order. Can I change it?

    Please contact us at info@boomboomparty.co.za ASAP. After an order is fulfilled and shipped, we won’t be able to make any changes, unfortunately. If the package is returned to us by the carrier, we'd be happy to issue a refund of your items, with the exception of the original shipping cost. Or we can re-ship it to a new address, but you will be responsible for the re-ship charges.

    I forgot to order a few more things, can I add them to my order?

    Unfortunately, we cannot add items to an existing order since we do not keep our customer’s payment information. Please feel free to place a 2nd order for the additional items. If your original order is not fulfilled/shipped before your 2nd order is placed, most of time, we can combine the orders to ship together and issue a refund of the shipping cost of your 2nd order.

    What if someone else receives my package on behalf of me?
    Even when deliveries are made, our couriers scan in a copy of the waybill with the signature and name of the person that signed for the parcel. That means that you never have to worry about not receiving your parcel, as we can track who took possession at the time of delivery.

    Can I buy your products at a store?  

    Currently, we do not have a physical retail store that you can browse and shop at, however we do offer Pick up / Click & Collect option (see above), otherwise you can place your order online and choose the best shipping option for your needs. Remember, it's free delivery if you spend R500 or more!

    I have not received my delivery, and the stated delivery time has passed?
    On rare occasions, or in remote areas, delays can happen. If the expected delivery times are exceeded significantly, please contact us with your order number and we will try to work out what has happened to your shipment and update you accordingly. Rest assured that you will receive your shipment, even it means we have to send you a replacement!

    I have tracked my order and my parcel status has been 'Out for Delivery' for the past couple of hours, what should I do?
    Our couriers will make delivery to your door anytime between 8am and 5pm on weekdays (weekends and public holidays are excluded). The couriers follow the most efficient route and schedule when making deliveries so you can rest assured that you're on that route and just need to sit tight for a bit - we know you're just excited to get your order, so are we!. We make use of a number of different couriers to deliver our awesome products to you. We do however have a fantastic system in place that lets you check up on the status of your delivery, as well as send you emails to keep you in the loop. That way, you always can easily see what is happening with your delivery.

    It is 17h00 and I have still not received my delivery, what should I do?
    When we book deliveries with our courier company it is standard to request a delivery before 17h00. This does not always mean that delivery will take place before 17h00, on rare occasions the courier company may deem your delivery address an outlying area (especially residential addresses) and as a result only deliver after 17h00. Should you need to leave the address after 17h00 for any reason and are afraid you will miss the delivery, please note that our courier company has been instructed to give you call, and attempt delivery the following weekday, should no one be available at the time of delivery.

    What happens if I miss the delivery?

    The couriers will reattempt delivery the next working day.

    What should I do if my package is lost/stolen?

    This is very rare, but it could happen. However, we are not responsible for any lost or stolen package in transit. Please contact the carrier. We would be happy to provide you with any information about the carrier responsible for your delivery.

    Do you ship overseas?

    Currently we only offer shipping within South Africa.

    What shipping carriers do you use?

    We have partnered with Courier Guy. We use both air and road depending on which option you choose at check out.
